I really had trouble with the exposition here. I needed the story to advance by a couple of years.

Anne started out being stiff and straight laced, but when I drew this section, she got a better, friendlier personality.

I am going to miss drawing the little versions of Jennifer and Patch. Not so much Melissa. Her older version is much nicer.

I kept debating how to advance the story about five years. I wanted to give people a sample of what Jennifer was like when she was younger and had not learned how to hide her mean side. Kids are about the meanest things on earth, and also the most honest.
