After work, Laura went straight away to looking up the strange society she had just joined.  Using her new found skills on the internet, this should have been a breeze.  If she looked up conspiracy, she got 36,300,000 his.  Savior only got 7,190,000.  I guess there are more conspiracy theorists than spiritualist she told herself snidely.

However, if she put in "Conspiracy of Saviors" nothing came up. Nothing.  Not even the ever present ebay text adds on the side.

Confused by this conundrum, Laura started combing her hair and thinking.  Liz decided that Laura was ignoring the priorities and jumped on the keyboard and demanded food. Laura picked Liz up and abscentmindedly put her on the floor.  Liz walked off, her bobbed tail twitching angrily.

The hours went by unnoticed as Laura set herself to solve this riddle.  By not searching for it head on, she was able to get some information on the perifories.  Eventually she found an investment firm named "COS Inc" that bought the tickets Abby used to fly into Fredericton.  They had been around for several centuries.  Money came in viw investments, but never went out directly.  They owned some properties scattered around the world.  There were several large estates and a few offices in the major cities of the world.  Fredericton was not one of them. They sponsored several areas of research: Weapons Design, Spirituality, BioChemical, Religious Training, Medical.  Their fingers were everywhere.  But there was no direct mention of them.  Only one line on an account's form.

What have I gotten myself into, Laura sighed to herself.  She noticed Liz on the bed. Liz was actively ignoring Laura.

"What am I going to do?"

Liz's ear twitched.  Then she started washing her toes.

"What it just that guy's smile?  It just made you want to trust him. But this just feels right."

Liz continued to ignore Laura and started to wash her petticoats.

"Maybe I should ask Abby.  What time is it? 10:30? She'll still be up."

Laura got up and walked towards the door.

Liz jumped thinking Laura was heading to the kitchen.  When she realized her mistake, she paused momentarily, then kept walking as if this was her plan all along.

"Ok -- I'll feed you before I leave."

She quickly put down some food and headed next door and knocked.  But Abby wasn't home.
