Laura opened the paper.
"This can't be good."
She pointed to a full page ad annoucing the "Ultimate Fighting: Valkyrie Event". It showed overly developped women wearing chain bikinis and topped with tin helmets with holywood horns on them.
"If this had been last month, I would have thought it was just a publicity stunt. But now I'm not sure."
Abby looked over the ad.
"Well these women aren't Valkyries. I would hate to fight in chainmail without having some padding underneeth."
"They do have padding, " Laura said with a grin. "And I beat you dollars to donuts that the padding had been bolstered."
"That aside, why would they hold such an open event?"
Laura did a quick search on the Internet. "Normally they come by after the battle and choose heroes from the slain. There aren't many battles in New Brunswick these days, maybe they are improvising."
"Creating a their own war?"
"Ultimate fighting fans are a particularly rabid group. Maybe they will start a riot."
"We can't let that happen. I'll have to take them on myself."
"You are in no shape to start issuing challenges. You back still isn't fully healed and you still are weak from the vampire's poison."
"We have to do something."
"Ok -- let's go there. Then we can see."
