Norville couldn't believe his eyes.  He had gone to all that trouble and the Valkyries were just leaving. They hadn't even collected any hearoes to take with them.  They hadn'e even said goodbye!

Norv turned the TV off with a irritated flick of the wrist. He got up and started pacing the room.  The excess amounts of caffeine had made is movements jerky and spastic.

"How am I going to rid Fredericton of all the annoying low-lifes around?  The monsters I summond have been somewhat effective.  They do go out of bounds a bit, but sacrifices must be made."

Norvile grabbed his copy of the Official Strategy Guide and started flipping through.

"There has got to be something more effective. There: Valafar grand duke of Hell.  A demon would destroy everything, but the ones left over would be heroes by default.  Maybe it would be worth it to just clean the slate."

Norv checked the book for what he needed.

A quick trip to Victory Meat market got him some lamb to burn as an offering.

The Super Store had an assortment of coloured candles, but no black candles.  He tried at a couple of other places but could not find any black candles.  Eventually, he went to Lawiscraft to get candle making supplies.  He mixed a black crayon with some colourless wax and poured some servicable candles.

He got a can of black spray paint and drew a pentagram in the circle he had previously drawn. He darkened the room by putting bed sheets over the windows.  He placed the candles on each of the five points of the pentagram. His computer was set up at the base of the pentagram.  Norvile was careful not to let the wires cross the pentagram.  If he was correct, the gate would open in the center of the pentagram and he didn't want to lose his computer and therefore his connection to the World of EverFantasy.  He set up a hibachi and prepared the charcoal and lighting fluid.

He checked the time.  If he started at midnight, the gate would open at three am.  That was the time with the boundaries were at their weakest.

While he was waiting, he might as well play some World of EverFantasy.
