"What do I do first?"

"First you have to become completely relaxed. You you prefer sitting on the floor or lying on the bed?"

"Sitting on the floor."

Ku'uaki and Laura sat on the floor cross legged and facing each other.

"Ok, sit up straight and place your hands palm up on your knees."

Laura did as she was told.  Ku'uaki checked her aura.  It was a mixture of excitement and fear.

"Now just think about your breathing.  Breathe deeply and steadlily.  Like waves on an ocean. Drawing in energy from the Universe and expeling the toxins that would hold you back."

The room was filled with steady breathing.  Liz came over, but knew enough to not bother Laura.  She chose instead to lie down in Ku'uaki's lap.  Soon soft purring also filled the room.

"Imagine a point of light above your head.  The light splits into different colours.  First Red. Think of red apples, red dresses, robins.  Think of the energy of Red."

Laura's first chakra at the base of her spine lit up.  She would need this to anchor her in the real world.

"Now Orange. Think of oranges, Pumpkins, autumn leaves. Think of the energy of Orange."

Her second chakra in the abdomen lit up.  This would allow her to empathise with those she met on the astra plane."

"Now Yellow. Think of yellow flowers, lemons, canaries. Think of the energy of Yellow."

Her third chakra lit up on the solar plexus.  The would powere her will and give her energy.

"Now Green. Think of leaves, green apples, frogs. Think of the energy of Green."

Her heart chakra lit up.  Now she will be more centered.

"Now Blue. Think of the sky, the ocean, the blue jay. Think of the Energy of Blue."

The fifth chakra lit up in her throat.  Now she will be able to communicate with those she met.

"Now Indigo. Think of eggplants, evening sky, ink. Think of the Energy of Indigo."

Her third eye opened. Now see will be able to see things as they truly are.

"Now Purple. Think of orchids, purple robes, peacock feathers. Think of the Energy of Purple."

Her seventh and final chakra burst into a crown above her head.  This was the chakra of knowledge, wisdom,  and understanding.  She will need all these things in her travels.

"Now you have the energy and the tools to help you to travel.  Look up at the light and reach out for it without moving.  Reach out for it with only your mind.  The light is a gateway to the other plane.  Go through it and you will be part of the internet. Remember to return.  I will be here guarding your body. Go now."

Laura reached out with her mind.  She could feel herself extending and going through the light.  It was like coming home.  She knew now that this is where he really did her amazing abilities.  The wires and the keyboards were only symbols and representations.  The Internet covered the world.  Now there was nowhere she could go and not be connected.  This was her world.

But her world was sick. She could see it like a blanket over Fredericton.  It was like those overlay maps you studied in social studies class. She could see the hole.  It was a great dark funnel like a black hole.

She concentrated on it and it magnified for her so she could see more detail.  The overlaid a map of fredericton.
