The buzz in Laura's office was all about the murder of the "ghost".  The body of Peter Sullivan was found in an alley. He was wearing a costume of a lumberjack.  Apparently the thetre group he was in was staging the ghostly appearances.  Word was that he must have disturbed some wacked out homeless guy who ripped his throat out.  The teatre company was charged with disturbing the peace.  They have not located the homeless man.

Laura was intregued by this.  She fired up her computer nad went to work searching things on the internet.  Since the incident with the network cable, working the internet had become easier.  Her coputer booted faster.  She search results were always relevant to what she wanted.  Sometimes it even felt like she didn't need the keyboard or montior.  Like she could just reach out and touch the information she needed.

Lots of strange happenings in Fredericton these days.  And they all started after the eclipse.  Except the ghosts.  But I guess it turns out they weren't supernatural.

Laura started nibbling her hair and thinking about what was going on. She didn't even notice when a large man stepped in front of her desk.
