At was quiet at the SPCA.

The old woman had returned.  She walked right up to the front door.  She waves her hand over the lock and then opened the door. She entered and went to the cat rooms and released all the cats.  The followed her in a pack like kittens follow their mother.

She went to the infirmary.  There was a couple of cats who were too sick to be put in the normal rooms. The old woman picked them up and blew gently into their noses.  Their eyes cleared and their runny noses dried up.  She set them on the floor where they joined the bouncing anf frolicking crowd.

Once all the cats had been released for their cages, she led the procession out the front door.

Once outside, she hunched over.  The pine motif turned to tabby stripe and her outline changed to one of a domestic cat.  But not a normal cat, a cat with tweo tails.

The gang of cats were overjoyed they all rushed in at once to exchage head rubs with the grandmother of all cats.  She exchanged pleasantries then led them down Hilton Road towards downtown.
